New year, new blog, new project
The new blog is here! A couple of months ago we came to the conclusion that we needed a new and better website with improved design. Although it took us some time to get it together, it's now up and running and we hope that you like it as much as we do. As you can see the subpages lacks some information at the time being, but we have the ambition to fill them as well as the gallery with neat things in the near future. Another new feature is the Micro blog which can be found in the right margin and will be updated even more frequently. Especially now that everybody here at "the office" has an iPhone.
And, not only is the webpage new and updated, but we are also in the making of a new project. At the moment we're tailoring a limited edition of the Blue Highway jeans, only available in ten pieces! It's the same model that Per over at Sivletto has, and the very same that we recently made ourselves. If everything goes according to our plans, they'll be available at Sivletto at the beginning of February. Stay tuned for several pictures as well as more info regarding the tailoring process and the quality of the jeans.

Happy new year, everyone!

In Action
Time to "wear in the pants", here's the result and how the fitting turned out.

Hampus in Cone Blue Highway size 33/34. Rinsed in washing maschine once and used in one week.

Me in my 34/34 used for one week, with out being washed.

Some details. Feels nice to walk around in a new pair of pants and it really feels like we nailed the fitting this time. We will post more updates when the pants has been used for a month or two.

It's good to be back

There's something really special about Rose Bowl. You never know what to expect.

There's lots of neat stuff here. For example, there's these old bags which obviously has been through quite some hard (and probably pretty eventful) days.

Piles of furniture from various decades. Among these, we found the Diamond Chair which I personally hold as one of my absolute favorites when it comes to furniture design. It's clearly visible in the upper picture.

There's also a couple of old rusty bicycles and signs.

And of course they've got loads of denim, which makes us long back to Rose Bowl now that we've been home for a while. It really exists a certain atmosphere over the place which inspires you in many ways.
We found some truly sweet stuff which we was able to get home to Sweden, but more about that in the next post from our recent Los Angeles travel.

EBAY GULDKORN

What Happens in Oak........

The Blue Highway blog
What started out as blog about vintage denim that we found on Ebay, has the last year merged into a blog about our own brand, our custom denim.
Either we write about our collection or our passion for sewing our own jeans, we hope that The Blue Highway blog will inspire you to become a denim nerd like us.
In the gallery section you can find out more about our collection.
