flea market find

Last Saturday I visited a flea market in Stockholm. The sun was shining and there was lots of people selling their old stuff. Myself, I had no expectations of finding anything but that's also the charm about flea markets. You never know what you'll stumble upon.

Anyhow, I found this Levi's big E jacket 70505 from the early 70's. It's always exciting to find garments like these. I paid 12 $ for it, which I felt was a real bargain.

And as you can see, it fits perfectly.

I also met a friend at the flea market that had picked up a real bargain when he bought a pair of Levi's big E jeans for the mere price of 6 $. That's a real finding, indeed! It's always nice with denim related bargains at flea markets here in Sweden, and it sure isn't common anymore.

New jeans for the summertime

A couple of weeks ago we felt that we wanted to meet the summer in new jeans, so we decided to make us a pair each. This time we tried a Japanese 14,5 oz quality and we're really excited to see how the wearing process will turn out compared to the cone quality that we've used earlier this year. As you can see, the fit is the same - classic B001 with inspiration from the 50's.

A wonderful evening

Thought I'd publish some pictures from our last trip into the American desert. The night fell quickly on us and eventually you couldn't even see your hand in front of you. It was cold as in a freezer as well, so we lit a fire in order to keep warm.

The Blue Highway blog

What started out as blog about vintage denim that we found on Ebay, has the last year merged into a blog about our own brand, our custom denim.

Either we write about our collection or our passion for sewing our own jeans, we hope that The Blue Highway blog will inspire you to become a denim nerd like us.

In the gallery section you can find out more about our collection.
