One of the first

Featured below are some picture of Fredrik in his Blue Highway's. This very pair of trousers has a special look and is exclusively made for Fredrik. It's the second pair of jeans we made and it's the only one of its kind. A lot of inspiration has been taken from the 40's and 50's. He's been running around in the pants since July 2008 and they've been washed about six or seven times. As you can see on the pictures, this quality is really deeply colored. There's still a lot left of the deep blue indigo color but I think the pants has been worn really nicely.

Ten months and the first wash

The other day we received some pictures from the Sivletto boys, Per and Fredrik. Per's jeans had been washed for the first time in ten months! After 40 degrees Celsius and a couple of days, the result is the following.

Nice pictures, huh? Although, it's obvious that Per hasn't used the trousers every day in these past ten months. I'd say the wearing more likely represents eight months of constant wearing. Myself, I think that the pants lost that perfect amount of colour after the first wash and it sure has a lot more to give. I look forward to how it will look after another couple of months and I'll make sure we get some pictures after the second washing as well.

Hand craft

Well, how about this? A hand made wallet tailored in Veg Tan leather with our burnt-in B on it. This little piece of magic will be sent to its new owner today.

The wallet is made from a untreated Veg Tan leather, so the first thing you need to do is to place it in the sun for a couple of hours. Then, you turn it over and fry it from another direction. This is important to do before the actual wearing starts. Another tip is to pick it up from your back pocket now and then when the sun is out, which will make it even nicer.
