Breakfast in the desert

This was probably the best breakfast ever. We had it right in the middle of the desert and without a human being as far as the eye could see. Our good friend from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean cooked the sweetest pancakes I've ever eaten, and what would you drink to a meal as fine as this if not a fine beer? This morning also was the beginning of a really nice day - a bit later on we went on a voyage of discovery in some old mining towns. Oh, the old mines... But more about that in another post. This one I only want to dedicate to the pancakes.
