A good pair of festival shorts

It's almost exactly five years ago since a friend of ours bought his Lee 101z's. When he had owned his jeans for 2,5 years he began working in the music industry with a main orientation towards festival organisation. He'd been using and washing them to get truly nice wearing marks, but felt that he had worn them with long legs for good. Naturally, he made a pair of shorts out of them and since then they've been used as his festival/working shorts. The shorts has now been worn in three working seasons without washing, so he thought it might be a good idea to finally make them have the good old washing machine treatment.

Since he is always wearing them when working he tends to often get the question "why are you always wearing the same shorts"? The natural answer is of course "well, it's my festival shorts".
